Pow-wow

The Smithsonian Institute of American Indians are celebrating the opening of the new section of the American Indian Museum. The big event is supposed to be in Sept 2004. I wrote since I am a member and asked to volunteer. I want you to know that I went to their initial opening ceremony-pow-wow. Although it was not well advertised. It was very nice. I met members of the Cheyenne , Lakota, Blackfoot and Apache tribes. Members of the Southeastern tribes were there of course. Next year it is supposed to be very well advertised. As the time approaches I will let you know more. Location- Washington D.C.
