Hello folks,

I've been lurking for some time now. I know some of you from Tcom.com, and it was Coharie Roy who got me to looking this way in the first place. I had wondered what had been taking Linda's time lately, and now I have some clues.

Good work, Linda.

I'm an applied statistician who works in Raleigh, and lives for the time being in Greensboro. I'm of Tuscaroran and white descent on my mother's side, and Lumbee and white on my father's. I have no formal tribal affiliation.

When I was surfing the site, I noticed the pre-July 4th thing at the lake, and silly me thought it was forthcoming. I alerted the wife, and started making vacation plans to coincide with other 4th activities, then I go to print the pages to help the spousal unit have a better picture of what I want to do, when I f*i*n*a*l*l*y notice the year part of the date. 2001...sigh.

Are there plans afoot for a repeat performance this year?

Yes indeedy. The weekend before the fourth at Kerr Lake, only this year it's free so long as we sing and dance for our supper, which we were planning to do anyway. Anybody interested, drop me a line.

Hi PennyJim/Jim Penny,

Good to see you here. I need to check in with Tcom.com more often. I haven't been there lately.

Well, I hope I can play too. Let me speak, and explain, to Judy. I'd really like to do this.

Roy, maybe if we both can get there, we'll be able to fish a bit.
