We've tracked down the hackers

Looks like there's been a lot of excitement around here while I was out of town today. I put my resident tech support guru on it, my 14 year old, and he's traced the intruders down. One is in Denver, the other is a business in Kuwait, maybe a porn site sweat shop. They all look to be in cohoots. Tommorow he'll publish some names and addresses. Feel free to complain to them, send them your junk mail, whatever.

Applause for my son, he's held down the front admirably, commanding the control panel, mass deleting all the nasty posts and tracking down the culprits. Good thing I was gone today, it would have taken a lot longer and not gone as well if I'd done it.

Oh, no need to send us emails notifying us of this stuff. I knew right away this morning when I saw 70 posts from the same person something was up. Now, with all the notices from you all that things were amiss, I have 128 emails in my inbox about this.

Thank you for clearing up the hacker situation! When it comes to emails, your not alone, as I stayed up last night deleting the many I received. I finally just blocked your email address, so I would stop receiving them. Now that it's safe, I can unblock you. I did send you an email to notify you of the problem. It's like when the power goes out, if no one calls because they assume that their neighbor did, we would be waiting in the dark for awhile! So think of our emails as concern & care for your site that you have so kindly provided to us all. :)

Thanks for the help. I have things set so that I'm notified by email whenever anyone posts anything to the board. I wouldn't know, however, if someone was swamping you with private messages or emails from here.
