Hello everyone ... i am new to the forum... just wanted to tell you a little about myself.... I am from East TN just across the state line from NC and not too far from VA. I currently live in CO. I even pulled my stint in the military. I have always wondered about who my ancestors are but have never done more than talk to to the family about it... i do know my grandmother who was a williams was one of three daughters of Walt Williams i also know that my grand mother her mother gave the land for a small hospital in the area where we are from which is now sunset gap community center and preschool this is the side i am supposed to be black foot on... i also know that my grandfather a williamson was moved out of the cosby national park when it was made a park... he was actually born there and you can still see whats left of the old family home if you walk in far enough and he was 1/4 cherokee beyond that i just know that i have cherokee blood in my family from both the houk and howard sides as well any way guess i am rambling
if anyone knows more about these people please let me know i can give you more names if that will help
