Did anyone see the John Hagee Ministeries from San Antonio Texas this last sunday 1-12-03 He said the Jews funded the explorations of Columbus and they funded the Revolutionary war and therefore this great Country really belongs to the Jews. Maybe he should be informed as to who was living here when Columbus arrived.

I can't stand television evangelists tho!

I believe very strongly in the teachings of Jesus -- but I can't stand how "Christians" have twisted them.

If you ignore what "Christians" of today DO and just read what Jesus said, you are a lot better off than if you try to do what the Christians of today are doin'.

John Hagee and others like him -- I mean the television evangelists -- who make millions (they have to to produce their tv shows) are not the true spirit of Christianity. There are real Christians out there, but they just don't make a lot of noise and are hard to find tho, it seems, not unlike Native Spiritual elders, I think. ha ha

Was the tone of his remarks anti-Semitic? Since I doubt he would be likely to be extolling the contributions of Jewish people to American culture, I would suspect that they were.

I thought it was Queen Isabella who funded Columbus. If her bankers were Jewish that hardly comprises some mythical nation of "The Jews."
