This is the reconstruction of the face, body and clothing of a Cheraw woman whose remains were studied in the early 90's. She was found in Sara Town, which means the same thing as Cheraw. I'm talking to the people on the NC History museum about getting more of the photos of her and whatever else I can find out.

Her face is so familiar. She looks like Lynette Jeffries, and then there's the lady at the Nottoway meeting whose photo was in the paper.

This is one of the most important finds along the eastern sea bord,I would say that it is as important to the People in the Carolinas and Va, as the Ice Man is to human history, to find a good representation of what once was is incredible, Oh Guys, this is just as important to us as it is the Ladies! Thank you Linda for doing this. Tom
