Hello. Found something interesting. The library I spend half my waking hours at subscribes to Ancestry.com and they recently complied the Federal Works Projects slave narratives. I did a search under 'Indian Slave' and found references to kidnapping from reservations and forced servitude. Haven't made it to Virgina or North Carolina listings yet, still in Mississippi but of course I'm keeping an eye out for 'blackfoot'. Will let you know if is find anything.
