I'm new here, and I have traced my grandmothers family tree to John Shepherd and Temperance Epps who lived in Person county. I was just wondering if anyone has any information on them? IE: there parents. I have been told my whole life that we were native american through this line. I was told it was Cherokee, but not sure. Just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this. Thanks.
