Jomeokee pronunciation?

Does anyone know the correct pronunciation of Jomeokee? It is the Native name of Pilot Mountain and is from the siouan language stock. I think it is pronounced like joe--me-o--kee. Any response is welcomed...Thank you...Rebecca

I don't know much other than that the stress is usually on the even numbered syllable, the opposite of English, though if a word we have is a corruption of the real word, the unstressed initial syllable tends to get clipped, throwing the emphasis off. My guess is it's joMAYoKEE.
