I'm looking for families that are in some way connected to the Howard family of Albemarle County Virginia. Most of the Howard's started out in Virginia and ended up move to WV, Ohio, Ky, Tennessee, Maryland, NC and SC. My direct Howard line often moved back and forth between Albemarle County, the Shenandoah Valley and West Virginia. Some of the names include Long Henry Howard born around 1888, Charlie B Howard, Nannie Howard, Mary Howard, Ellen Howard, Jane Howard, Henry Howard born around 1875, and Isabella Howard born around 1845 -1850. My great grandfather’s name was Robert Howard his siblings were Leana Howard, Gladys Howard and Angus Howard. On the Census it has James Goings listed as my grandfather Robert Howard grandfather, the census also list Isabella Howard as his grand mother. If anyone has ever heard of any of these listed family members, or has a connection please let me know.
