Death of Kira Leigh's father

Just wanted to ask for prayers for Kira Leigh (we know her as Cindi) as she and her family go through these trying times. We have enjoyed getting to know Cindi and her husband, Timmie, this past year as they began attending pow wows and researching NA ancestry.

Cindi’s father, Calvin Akers Bouldin, passed away yesterday morning around 3:00 AM due to complications from a broken hip. Please keep Cindi and her family in your prayers.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers. I know Dad is in a better place. He has had so much pain the last six months, that I'm glad he isn't hurting anymore. Mom told me that Dad was very happy that I was researching my NA ancestry. I put a medicine bundle in his casket and sprinkled tobacco over the casket before they lowered it into the ground. I could feel him smiling. thanks again Cindi

And when you get to the next pow wow, may be you can honor him in the Veterans Dance. Looks like we will have quite a few veterans to honor that have passed on this past year. Glad things went as well as they did....will keep you in our prayers.

Just came back tonight and I would like to offer my thoughts and Prayers as well. I Pray that he made his travel well and that no one tried to hinder it.
