Yep, that's a stomp that's done in Maxton, NC. Not sure what tribe originated it, as it wasn't on the tape of Tutelo songs I have, but I've heard it done. If you ever get the chance to hear David Locklear perform these songs, go for it. He's done a magnificent job of revitlizing the music and bringing it back. In the past ten years there was a concerted effort to bring these culture elements back to the community in Robeson county by volunteers from Six Nations, where these songs have been kept alive for the past two to three hundred years. The group of then teenagers must have young families of their own by now.
