I am a descendant of the Norton family from Pittsylvania Co. VA. I found during my research that some Nortons are of Native American ancestry and I am trying to see if any one has info on them. If the info on my family is correct Ellinor Norton is my gggggg grandmother and she had a daughter Nelly Norton. I found Jacob Norton on another family tree but it seems some info is mixed up about the family and he is actaully Ellinors nephew. I plan on taking a trip to Virginia this summer to do more geneaology work this summer to try and get more info on the family and clear up some info I got. If anyone knows anything about this family I would love to hear about it.
