Can any one help me find info on my GG Grandfather who is of the Blackfoot tribe. He was in granville county,North Carolina working for the Watkins family in 1850 as an farmer.Or if you know of where I can turn my energy to look please let me know. About 1859 he married jane (who is Black).They had 10 children,Frank Glascoe who is my G grandfather was born 1877.
1. John Thomas Glascoe. Born in 1838 in Epping Forest district,Granville county,N.C. John Thomas died in 1933; he was 95. Occupation: 1880-farm laborer,1870-day laborer,1860-farming,1850-farmer,.
In 1858 when John Thomas was 20, he married Jane, daughter of , in Haysville township , Franklin County,North Carolina. Born in 1840 in Haysville township,Franklin County, North Carolina. Jane died in 1920; she was 80.
They had the following children:
