ive been told that my familey history goes back to the blackfoot were and how im not sure but it is something that i would like to find out anyinformation would be wonderful.

What family names were associated with this? Any idea at all where they lived?

i guess that my grandfather lived in canada other then that i have no idea. that what im trying to figure out. any more help would be appreciated.

If he was in Canada, then he likely is the "regular" Blackfoot now in Montana. Was he out west?

We are dealing with Blackfoot ID's that are associated with the Eastern Siouan people of the Piedmont of NC and Va. Some Eastern Siouan people made it to Six Nations, CAnada, but I've never heard of them being called Blackfoot there.
