Everyone here who reads my postings of Tutelo-Saponi needs to understand that I would not have gotten as far as I have now with out the help of Dr. Blair Rudes. I knew him only through e-mails, but he has been an amazing help, and encouraged my work on this language. We are benefiting from work he has done, we can not forget that.

I didn't realize you were corresponding with him so much. This really is quite a blow.

Most of my correspondence with Dr. Rudes centered around basic concepts in Siouan languages and Tutelo in particular, and he has helped me acquire literature on other Siouan grammars and Catawba that have been quite helpful. I’ve also gotten a number of his papers. I was just getting to the point where I could ask him specific questions about Tutelo grammar, and had just drawn up a list of more questions to ask him.

Dr. Koontz helped me when I was trying to figure out "Grandma's Song" a few years ago (You can search the site and give it a shot, Spilledi, if you like. If you cannot download it, I have it. A work song from someone's grandmother.). Who knows, he might help (http://spot.colorado.edu/~koontz/faq.htm). He suggested having Dr.Rudes help try to figure it out. Anyway, Dr. Koontz was nice and specializes in Dakota, I believe.

Hmm, the edit is acting funky or the user is funky. Probably the latter.
