Does anyone recognize Mohanus as a surname? Emma Mohanus, 19, is listed as a servant in a Bruce farming household in Albemarle County in 1880. I find it strange that this Bruce family in which the husband was 23 and the wife, 18, would have a servant. I highly doubt that this was a 'gentleman's' farm.
