Was your George Thorsberry b. 1817 Floyd, Co. KY? Do you know Rebecca's mother's name? I had family in Floyd around this time.

I found Rebecca...Does this sound correct? as what has been posted is a little confusing. I knew this name sounded familiar...Rebecca's mother Rachel Terry was to have been married to Ezekiel Gibson. Here is what I found:

I didn't know about the second wife, I had Rachel Terry. Both George and Rebecca were alive after 1900. I haven't looked at census records to confirm the length of their marriage.

George was a younger brother to my ggggrandmother Nancy Thornsbury married to Frederick Stumbo. Attached picture of Nancy's daughter Judah Stumbo Hall.

I have George and Rebecca Thornsberry line also. kinda of a conflict with Rebecca's mother having rebecca pridemore and Rachel Gibson the same year and month. But i did have Rebecca's mother as Rachel Terry Gibson. does anyone know Rachel Terry's parents?

Look up Knott County Web Page at http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyknott4/ some limited information on Pridemore/Thornsbury. Most of the Right Beaver section of Knott was originally Floyd.
