To All,
My mother has brought to my attention the fact that a DNA study is being done, in every state. The reason for this post is the fact that no information obtained through DNA tests will ever be handed over to those that submit to it. This is being done by, the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation & Brigham Young University, the latter being a part of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salt Lake City, Utah. The test results will be kept secret, at the same time they say that they will publish them on the internet, without names of course. Since Ancestry.com is also a part of this, we can be certain that in the future you can pay to see the results. Please think twice & ask many questions, if anyone is thinking about this project. There is nothing to gain, except for those that are in charge of the program. I just wanted to inform as many people about this as possible. Thanks to Linda, for allowing me this platform in which to speak the truth. Sounds like Eugenics is back in full force.
Sincerely,
CoheeLady

I suppose it's eugenics if the information gets used that way, or if it reports data we don't like/believe in.
Hello All, well several years back an anthropologist went into the jungles of South America and "discovered" an indian person that was not related to any known person on the planet, so the Anth, patented the mans DNA !!!!!!
"This is your friends DNA on drugs" any questions?
Best to All, Tom

Geez, why didn't they try testing his mother's DNA too. Or did they find he had no relationship to her either.

Dear Tom,
Since the DNA of everyone on our planet hasn't as to date been collected, the South American Indian couldn't have been looked at as not being related to any other person on the planet. Where did you here this, I would like to get in touch with the Anthropologist & discuss his findings. Also was this Indian deceased or living? You asked if anyone had questions! http://winwinworld.net/SaponiForum/UBB/wink.gif It is possible to say that his DNA/gene sequence didn't match any that are on record. This makes sense, but it doesn't mean he had no other relatives, living or deceased. Linda, liked your response about the mother! http://winwinworld.net/SaponiForum/UBB/smile.gif
Sincerely,
CoheeLady

Hello Everyone,
I went to the Molecular Genealogy Research Project, that is being done by BYU (Mormon Church) & the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation, on Friday Aug. 23,2002, in Virginia. I was there not to give my DNA, but to question their motives behind the project. I was told via phone that the database in the future will be on Ancestry.com, for those that subsribe only. As the Sorenson Foundation has a contract already with Ancestry.com, for this project.
On hand at the DNA collection site, were two people from Salt Lake City, Utah. They said that this information will be used in the future, & other studies are forth coming. I was happy to see that their turn out was very low! http://winwinworld.net/SaponiForum/UBB/smile.gif I have contacted two TV stations & our local News paper for coverage, whether they do anything or not is up to them, I can only plead my case & hope that someone cares enough to listen & question the research, as I have done.
I am planning on taking the church to court, in order to obtain restricted records on my family. As they were targeted in the Eugenics Movement. The Church holds the key to my families pain, as they hold the family records of those that were targets of the Eugenics Movement. If I do take them to court, it will not be for money, but only for the records that we so desire, & have a right to see.
Sincerely,
CoheeLady
