Looking for the ancestors to "Tiny" Bolin.
Told she was Blackfoot/or Cherokee from Stamps, Ark. area. I was told that family members did travel from the East coastal area. She was my fathers grandmother. Not sure of all family names; or of spellings. I think some are Baldwin, Watson, She had a daughter named after other past family members "Veleara"She died young. Veleara had one son. John Logan. Any info much appreciated?????

I was told I was either blackfoot or cherekee out of black foot idaho. are there any reservations in idaho to check this out.
Hello All, you are getting closer to where I am from, the folks from Idaho area in Blackfeet are Shoshone-Bannock.
Although there is a gathering of very mixed blood Cherokees in that area they do not have any recognition just folks playing Indian once a year. All the best Tom.

Velear, sorry to have missed your post. Glad you wrote and asked about it. Your Bolin name could well be associated with Eastern Souian/Saponi. There are a number of variations on Bullen, Bullin, Bullian among those families. Also Logan is a name they may be linked to Blackfoot families. There is one report that the Seneca Ambassador Shikellamy had a Tutelo wife. (Other reports say he had a Cayuga wife, though perhaps he had more than one wife in his lifetime.) His son was the famous John Logan who went on a rampage after his family was killed by settlers. He made a speech that was popular in his day. The area in WV where he was has tons of "other" Blackfoot, and I've heard the name Logan associated with them before.
