Plan on attending the daylong celebration of the new IHS Press publication Finding Indiana Ancestors: A Guide to Historical Research to be released in March 2007.

Authors will present sessions based on their chapters in the book. Learn from the state’s experts about the repositories and records vital to every family historian and to other historical scholars as well.

The Federation of Genealogical Societies and the Allen County Public Library will present “A Meeting at the Crossroads of America” to be held at the Grand Wayne Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana, August 15–18, 2007. The Indiana Historical Society is pleased to sponsor the Midwestern Roots track at the conference. This is a great opportunity to meet with your fellow genealogists from Indiana and around the country.
