This started my curiosity:) I found a will of John Hunt naming his Mother Mourning Hicks..Ralph Hunt and Dina Anderson had Sarah (mine) and Memucan and also John who married Mourning. He died and she remarried William Hicks.
In her son's will he names Martha Minor..so I started looking..one of the executors of his will is Randall Minor..husband of Martha. His father John Minor and mother Mary "Polly" Hampton had Polly married Lewis Bledsoe...Lazarus married Polly Jones..Jinsey married Benjamin Williams..Anna Married John Wood..Father of Lewis Bledsoe, John and mother Sarah Moore. Hezekiah Minor is named Hezekiah Minor, Miner, in most known records including the 1801 Will of John Going in Henry County, Va.,John Cox Jr was a witness to this will, according to tax list John Cox Sr was a close neighbor to John Going, Hezekiah Minor was surety in the marriage of Semion Going and Keziah Tabb, Sept 2, 1801, all recorded in Henry County, Va.,Another possibility is John Minter may have been Miner, because there is a suggested relationship to a Prudence Williams who included Hezekiah son Zachariah in her Will written 26 April 1822 in Lee county, Va. where Hezekiah was enumerated on the 1820 Federal Census.
