The polar graph would be great for planning beaded rosettes etc.

I just remembered that there is some free beading graph paper here on www.bead-patterns.com

You just have to search for it. They do have a search engine :) I haven't visited it in a while so I'm not sure exactly what all they have, but I'm pretty sure they have free graph paper for most of the techniques.
