A re-creation of a 1677 Public Market Day between Native Americans and Colonials. Re-enactments, dancing, historic and Native Crafts. Free event sponsored by the Isle of Wight County Museum Foundation with the Nansemond Indian Tribal Association. 10 a.m. - 4 pm, at Isle of Wight Academy, 17111 Courthouse Highway, Isle of Wight, VA. (on HWY 258 - - from Hwy 10 turn onto 258 at Smithfield; from Hwy 460 turn onto 258 at Windsor). For information call the Smithfield & IOW CVB at 757/357-5182 or 1/800/365-9339.

This sounds like a very interesting thing for history buffs to attend. We are planning to try to get up there for this. I have the brochure on it if anyone needs further details. I know it's the same weekend as Waccamaw.
