Hi friends!
If you have read my profile you will know of my life trade. For many years I have studied Military History and I have a great passion for things that are Ancient. I wear a coin that is over 1200 years old. This is one of many that I had aquired years ago. These coins were found in a dig outside of Milian, Italy and was believed to have once been the property of a Roman Soldier who had went to war. Likewise when I went to war, I carried the spirit of this Ancient Warrior wth me. I assume he watched over me as I returned when he did not. Perhaps when I am old and broken, I shall pass this coin on to a younger Warrior so he may do the same.
I know that it may seem stange haveing an interest in the History of how Mankind learned to kill each other. But what better way is there to learn about man as to learn about his views, fears, hates, And crusades. But we all know that this is a subject that is never ending, "Man" will always be "Man". So,
If anyone out there has the same interest, I would like to hear from you.
I am currently looking for materials for the crazy hobby that I have. I make knifes and swords (The Old Way!). My Grandfather taught me this skill when I was a young boy. I am prepairing my new forge at this time and collecting things.
I am looking for:
Buffalo horn (For Handles)
Large Bone and Horn ( For Scrimshawed Handles)
Flintstone (All you can find in Florida, Is Seashells!)
I can purchase, Or I have about 800 LBS of Rosewood and can trade.
Take Care, PEACE!
