Trying to learn more of Meredith Collins

Working with a genealogist I am apparently a ggggg grandson of Meredith Collins - my grandmother was Amanda A. Collins, daughter of Lewis Collins, who was father of Bradley Collins, and he Meredith. Can anyone tell me where to look for information of their wives? Also, from all that I have read, it appears that Meredith may have been black and Indian or one of the other? Being Mulatto in 1760 could mean both. Also, any relatives out there???
