I ran across an interesting link while looking at IA stuff yesterday. It is a listing of 1865 clergymen in IA. Notice how many of the names have been discussed here. There are several I have either run into while searching in PA, OH, and WV where my folks were, married into my lines, and/or are in my direct lines : Reed, Thompson, Harris, Smith, Jeffries, Mason, Evans, Green, Orr, Paxton, Parr, Harris, Dowd, Clark, Holliday, Cooley, French, Collins, Swearengen, Mitchell, and Potter. I have seen others that people have posted here also. The URL is : http://iagenweb.org/history/directories/1865clergymen.htm.
My direct ancestors were all in IA by the time of this listing. The last of the direct ancestors arrived in 1852.

One of my cousins set me to looking for something he thought was Shawnee today. I found a couple of tidbits of information while doing this. On this web site of Shawnee language http://www.shawnee-bluejacket.com/shawnee/Gatschet_Shawnee_MS_615.htm it quotes a very early source stating that Tutelo were among the Seneca in PA. That is consistent my Blackfoot ID's stepgrandson saying that the Indians near Pittsburgh were Cornplanter Seneca.
The other tidbit of information quoted an early 1700 account that said that the Iroquois called the Tutelo Flatheads (They kind of lumped all southern tribes in that name.).

Dovelady,
I think that they added to the site. They now have a listing of blacksmiths and saloons there. Here is the original information : http://iagenweb.org/history/directories/1865clergymen.htm
