Hey Linda...we considered attending this one..but, we will be starting our honeymoon that Saturday night and making a couple of stops along the way. Unfortunately, we won't be in that area until later on in the week. Maybe next year...when we are old married folks! Take care, Becky

Oh, believe me, if I thought I would be capable of driving that far on Saturday night, we would be there to be with our family and friends on such a special occasion...remember, Ken proposed at the closing drum in Mebane.

Thanks, we think you are pretty special, too....we will be at Homecoming in October...looking forward to seeing all there. Take care...Becky

If anyone is going to this pow wow email me at jrhjlh@msn.com I would really like to meet some of the folks who post here. This is a really good pow wow for those of you who haven't been. I would walk to get there if I had to, that's just how good a time you'll have. Hope to see many of you there. Jim

Hi, I'm new here and actually sort of new to the area. I was wanting to go to this pow-wow and I wondered if anyone knew when the best time to get there would be. Also, is it pretty much an all day thing? Thanks

Depends, are you going to dance or spectate. If you want to get a good seat on saturday, you probably better get there (with your chair) around 10ish. There is usually a ton of people there. It will probably go to around 6 I think, don't really remember, but that sounds about right. You gotta love this pow wow, I can't say enough about the spirit at this pow wow. The people and food whew-wee!
