Well...just settling in from attending one of the best pow wows this year....and seeing some of our folks. It was a pleasure to see Rose and Linda again....and to meet Lynne and her other half. The surround sound of the 4 drums playing at the same time on Saturday was indescribable....and the dancing today really brought out the spirits....and feeling was overwhelming. Hope to see you all again soon...take care, Becky

I will echo Becky's thoughts and feelings. The hospitality and warmth of the Chereonhaka people may be equalled by other groups but cannot be topped. They treated us like family (which in fact we may be ;-) Seems like we may have some Euro/Iroquois/Saponi unions in this granville, NC. Moore, Lunsford, Jones, Hicks, Brown, Day, et al group ;-)

It was a wonderful and very powerful feeling to meet all of you. I regret that I couln't make it to the Eastern Siouan pow wow.
I especially want to thank Linda for inviting me up.
That was the first pow wow I have been to, and I was very impressed.
It was a real moment of joy when I was told that Linda was on her way, and suddenly you, and dreaminghawk intoduced yourselves, and suddenly the whole world got a lot more interesting.
It was a real party to be with you all.
Until we meet again,
Lynne
