Here's one for Crystal:
[107], November 1708, Sarah an Indian Slave to Jno. Pythres be added to the List of Tythables this present year.
I don't understand what this below is saying. Is it listing someone's tithables? What is meant by tithables? If you had servants or slaves you had to pay a tax for each one?
Lawnes Creek Parish
p.83, Mr. Jos: Jno. Jackman, Timoth, Walker, Tho: Hudson, Jer: Cobb, Wm. Ronson, Edwd. Long, Jno. Woodrift, Robin, Tom, Cherino, Dick, Jack, Dick, London, Mary, Betty and Nan Negrs, Salvidore, Tom, Francisco Indns. - 21

Linda,
Regarding the tithe table that you found. It most likely, due to the date, is a tithe table list of 21 Indians that were either servants , slaves, or farmhands. In order to attend church a tithe had to be paid, to said church. There were many preachers that came to homes & preached to both the family & slaves at the same time. A tithe is a payment of 10% of one's yearly income, it's in the Bible.
Sincerely,
