I am looking for info and family connections of Henry Carter (Judkins Twp,
Warren County, NC) and his decendants. He later moved his family to Griffins
Twp in Nash County, NC.

Henry Carter -m- Priscilla Toney ---- August 6, 1866

Their Children:
*Lias (twin)
*Lazarus (older twin) d. 1953
*Walley -m- Lillie Whitehead
*Luzianna -m- Pompey Taylor
*Henry
*June (male) was supposedly killed but don't know when or where
*William "Babe" b. Sept 16, 1884 in Warren County, NC d. Nov 11, 1968 in Newark, NJ
-m- Sallie Moody, Beulah Thompson

William "Babe" H. Carter -m- Sallie Moody (1st) Nashville, NC
Wlilliam "Babe" H. Carter -m- Beulah Thompson (2nd)

Priscilla Toney is related to the Toney Funeral Home of Spring Hope, NC.

There was a cousin named Sol Carter who left NC and moved to Oklahoma or Kansas. The city was probably Columbus.

The Carters and Moodys attended Swift Creek School and Swift Baptist Church in (Swift Creek) Whitakers, NC.

I am also interested in the Zeatta "Zat" Moody (mother) and Berta Moody (daugther). Zeatta is the sister of Sallie. Berta married Ulyses Pittman of Edgecombe County, NC. The Moodys were also in Warren County, NC before moving to Nashville, NC. Ulyses is the son of Jonas Pittman of Edgecombe County, NC. Ulyses moved his family to Baltimore, MD.

Eboney,

Welcome to the forum. My name is Brenda and I was wondering if you have ever seen your "Toney" spelled "Toner". My John W. Collins married Lydia Toner in Grainger Co. Tennessee in 1821. Since I have never found the parentage of this woman or anything about her I wondered if it could be misspelled. I have also considered it to be "Stoner".

No, Toney is the only way I have seen it spelled. My Toney is related to the Toney Funeral Home in Spring Hope, NC.

Let's take the Moodys first since I wasn't able to develope much on them.
Sallie and Zaten V. are the daughters of John Moody and presumably Harriett _?_ .
John was married at least twice.
