Harriett Cannon?

Hello all!
I was wondering if anyone had any information on a Harriett Cannon she is listed on the Marriage Registar for "parent" of Walter Cannon when he married Rebecca George on January 3, 1885. Which looks like Rebecca was Walter's cousin from the census information that Bill provided. I have searched and cannot find a harriett cannon any help would be appreciated.

I'm working on it but haven't found the key that associates Harriet with Walter in any way but circumstancial. I looked at every Cannon in the county and only found this one Harriet so this may be her.

In 1870 Mecklenburg Co census for South Hill Twp, pg.444B, is
CANNON, Scott; 55, b.NC
(ditto), Harriet; 35, b.NC
(ditto), Lucy J.; 13, b.Va.
(ditto), Esau; 9, b.Va.

2 pages and about 30 houses away, Walter Cannon, 17, Va, was a farm hand at Willis Liggets, 37, Blacksmith, Va; his wife Susan Liggets, 23, Va; children: Weldon, 12; Nancy P., 10; Richmond, 6; Martha, 1. Living with them are also Frances Cannon (female), 10; and William Cannon, 9; and Isabella Liggets, 80, NC.

Next door to Willis Liggets, are
Jeremiah R. GEORGE, 66, Va; wife Sarah, 64; probable son William, 33; Elizabeth, 25 (prob. William's wife); and probably William & Elizabeth's children: Lavinia, 4; Robert T.(F.?) 2; and "infant", 1 month.

The only Cannons in 1870 Warren Co NC, all born Va., & living in Smith Creek Twp., are:

Paschall, 18.
Martha, 10.
John, 8.
Macklair, 7.
Thomas, 4.
and next door to them, all born Va:
Robert Cannon, 52.
Rebecca, 48.
George, 16.
