September 16, 1705 Upon inspection of the accounts of Contingent Charges the Council agreed to the Report of the Gentlmen appointed to examine ye said accounts that ye allowance of ninety four pounds to Mr. Richard Wharton and Mr. John Holloway for trying the Nanseatico Indians and assisting the Attorney General in seven Enditements in October 1704 is an extravagant and unusual charge, ye drawing Inditemts being ye proper business of the Attorney General. |
