November 3rd, 1705 Major Arthur Allen having together with a Petition exhibited an account of charges in laying out the Nottoway Indians land round their Town pursuant to yet Act of Assembly: but not producing any Survey or Platt of ye same. It is ordered that he transmitt a Platt of the said Land forthwith to the Council Office: and in ye mean time his petition and account are thought fitt to be referred to ye consideration of the House of Burgesses. |
